Rev. Grace Mukta, Yoga Therapist and Healing Master, was inspired to create Divine Healing Energy Yoga Therapy and she is happy to be able to offer you this amazing healing program based on years of rigorous training and teaching experience with the purpose of promoting health, peace and Divine Love.

It is a simple and powerful healing system that combines the use of the Divine Healing Energy process with carefully selected Yoga postures to bring about physical, mental and spiritual wellness.

Divine Healing Energy (also known as Reiki) is an ancient Japanese system of relaxation and stress-reduction that is taught by specially trained Reiki Masters directly to their students. This ancient Japanese healing art is a gentle hands-on healing modality that channels cosmic energy known as prana, chi, ki, or life force, promoting physical, mental, emotional healing and deep relaxation. Reiki cannot be learned from books or from courses over the internet. After the first level of instruction, the student receives an "attunement" which opens a portal to universal life energy. Further attunements are received as the student progresses towards the level of Reiki Master/Teacher.

Yoga is a comprehensive millenary life system that originated in India.  The Yoga postures utilized in the Divine Healing Energy-Yoga system are called "asanas" and can be practiced by anyone who wants to achieve optimal health and flexibility.  These asanas exercise and stretch the body while easing the mind in the process. The combination of Divine Healing Energy and Yoga is a unique practice routine that will result in renewed wellness and health.

Grace has discovered and personally confirmed that the practice of Reiki and Yoga go hand in hand.  The practice of Yoga increases the flow of Divine Healing Energy in a person's life. Yoga helps a person understand the Divine Energy in a much deeper way. Likewise, Divine Healing Energy helps a person understand the deeper energies of Yoga.

Yoga is the millenary art and science of balancing the physical and subtle anatomy of the individual. In Sanskrit, yoga means “union”, however, through inspiration Grace decided to call it a “communion” between mind, body and soul. A well structured and regular practice of yoga can bring about excellent results in psychotherapy as well as physiotherapy when treating arthritis, asthma, heart problems, aging, fatigue, etc.

It is also recommended for eliminating alcohol, tobacco and drug addictions.

Scientist around the world are studying the effects of yoga in the human body. A very important study was made by a Hungarian doctor Bigh Bela, on the effects of yoga exercises in the nervous system. Dr. Bela concluded that certain asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing) were connected with certain internal organs, endocrine glands and psychological processes.

The word Chakra in Sanskrit translates to ‘wheel’ or ‘disc’.

Chakras are centers of activity that receive, assimilate and express life force energy. Within the physical body resides a body double, a spiritual body that contains the Chakras. They are Entry Gates to the Aura. They are responsible for the person's physical, mental, and spiritual functions.

Chakras absorb and transmit energies to and from the universe, nature, celestial entities, objects and people. According to the traditional writings there are 88,000 chakras in the human body covering basically every area in the body. The majority of them are small and insignificant. 40 of them have a significant function and they are in the hands, feet, fingertips, and shoulders. The most significant ones are the Seven Main Chakras located along the central line of the body, from the base of the spine to the top of the head. They are located in the ethereal body and they express the embodiment of spiritual energy on the physical plane.

The chakras are constantly rotating and vibrating.  The activities in them influence our body shape, glandular processes, chronic physical ailments, thoughts and behavior. When any number of chakras are blocked or are wide open, the energy will not flow harmoniously through them resulting in an imbalance that will be manifested in all aspects of life. Each chakra is embodied on the physical body in one of the endocrine glands that regulate physical and emotional processes in the body. The imbalance in the chakra will also be expressed in the endocrine gland linked to it.

What blocks a chakra?

Childhood traumas, cultural conditioning, limited belief system, bad habits, physical and emotional injuries all contribute to chakra blockage. When difficulties abound in life, we develop a coping strategy for each one. If these difficulties persist then these coping strategies become chronic patterns, anchored in the body and psyche as defense structures. It is important to recognize the blocks we carry, find and understand their source and meaning, and develop tools to clear them.

The Balanced System

A relatively clear and balanced chakra system can be achieved by people who have done a lot of their own healing work or embraced a spiritual upbringing. The person would be:

*  well grounded and in touch with their body,

*  in good health and vitality,

*  aware of their feelings without being ruled by them,

*  sexually content without being driven,

*  confident without wishing to dominate others with a balanced third chakra,

*  compassionate and loving, yet centered and peaceful,

* able to communicate feelings or ideas with truth and clarity and willing to listen to others

* Maintain calm when others attack or are seeking control

* creative, wise and personally connected with a Higher Self.

These are ideals we strive to achievet, only it does take time, patience and dedication from the person and an unyielding willingness to surrender themselves to the Divine. The thing to remember is that body, mind and spirit -together with the seven chakras - are one invisible whole.

Kundalini is a dormant energy within most people.

In Hindu mythology, Kundalini is a serpent goddess who lies asleep at the base of the spine, coiled three and a half times around the first chakra. Her name is Kundalini Shakti, and she represents the unfolding of the divine Shakti energy, the energizing potential of life itself, a living goddess who enlivens all things. Under certain circumstances, the Kundalini energy awakens and begins to rise through the body, piercing and opening the chakras as she moves in her undulating, snake-like fashion.

As Kundalini releases stored and blocked energies, her movement can be quite intense, sometimes painful, and often leads to mental states that seem out of this world. Circumstances that stimulate Kundalini awakening are many and varied, but are usually triggered by such things as extended periods of meditation, yoga, fasting, stress, trauma, psychedelic drugs, or near death experiences.

Kundalini is a condensed, primal force, similar to the potential energy found in water. When released, it creates a vertical connection between the chakras by opening the subtle channels known as nadi, most specifically, the central channel that moves up the spine called sushumna. If we put water through a small hose at very high pressure, the end of the hose will undulate like a snake. Similarly, the intense energy of Kundalini undulates in the body as it rises through the chakras.

Kundalini can also be seen as a result of the chakras connecting to each other. Theoretically, as the chakras enlarge, the spinning of one can enhance the spinning of the one above or below it. Kundalini is basically a healing force, but its effects can sometimes be quite unpleasant.

Such effects may last for minutes, days, months, or even years. If you find yourself dealing with uncomfortable Kundalini awakening symptoms, you should:

1) Purify the body. Abstain from recreational or medically prescribed drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and caffeine. Avoid food additives, high sugars, or greasy foods. Eat well, especially protein which is generally grounding. Get massage and vigorous exercise.

2) Reduce stress. If you are in for a major spiritual transformation, make time for the necessary changes in your life. You may need to devote more time to your spirituality or health.

3) Find Support. Find others who have knowledge of this experience.

4) Educate yourself. Read about Kundalini, Kundalini Awakening and Yoga and learn about Chakras.

5) Treat underlying psychological issues. As Kundalini brings up unresolved issues, this is the best time to deal with them. It will make for a smoother transformation

6) Examine your spiritual practices. If you have not been practicing meditation, yoga or some spiritual practice, it may be time to begin. You might need to stop meditating for a while if it increases unpleasant Kundalini awakening symptoms. See what increases or decreases the unpleasant effects.

7) Practice grounding. Kundalini is most difficult when the energy is moving upward without enough energy moving downward toreach a balance. Investigate the possibility of the first chakra issues that need to be resolved in order to give a firmer base. Practice the grounding exercise daily.

Crystals used during Divine Healing Energy will help the healing and the balancing of energy. They will speed up the healing process.

LAYING ON STONES: The purpose of laying on stones is to release etheric, emotional, mental or spiritual blocks to our well-being. The healer's role is to be comforting, supportive and non- judgmental, giving the client safety to release these emotions and talk. This is part of the healing process. If the stone feels uncomfortable during the Reiki healing with crystals, it should be moved or removed. A stone that feels good when first placed on the body can change when its energy has been absorbed. The practitioner and the client shall work together in this manner.

One of the simplest ways to help balance the entire chakra system is to place a stone of the appropriate color on each area. This will give each chakra a boost of its own vibration without altering its energies or the overall harmony of the system. The interaction between the stones and chakras will return the chakra into healthy vibration, therefore healing the part of the body affected. Simply placing a different beneficial stone on each of the seven chakras can be a general tonic to strengthen and tone up the entire system.

Reiki and the Akashic Records

Akashic records readings allows you to tap into knowledge that you normally wouldn’t have access to. It is said that these records contain all the knowledge of human experience, and the history of the cosmos. In Sanskrit Akasha means sky, space or aether. This term comes from the Hindu mysticism. This “universal computer” is constantly updated and records every action, word or thought. The Akashic records are also have been referred to by different names such as the collective subconscious, or the collective unconscious, cosmic mind or universal mind. These records are like a library that is filled with knowledge about past, present and possible future. A lot of people believe that these records are almost like a guide from God and that they contain all secrets to life, everything that the universe has planned for you.

The Akashic records can be accessed through Divine Healing Energy Reiki. The  Long Distance symbol connects to the Akashic Records and can be used to heal karmic patterns, dis-ease in the body or any mental or emotional pain.  There are other ways to access the Akashic records, such as astral projection, and other special states of consciousness induced by meditation, prayer, pranayama, visualization, illness, certain stages of sleep, etc. The concept of having an Akashic record read come in the 19th century and is used widely today.

Aroma Therapy

Some of today’s most serious health concerns such as heart disease, anxiety disorders, depression, obesity and immunity disorders are caused by or are related to stress. Both conventional and non-conventional health professionals agree that lifestyle changes and stress management are essential to improving and maintaining our overall health. Sensory input can stimulate our emotional and physiological responses. In today’s world we are constantly receiving sensory stimuli.

On any given day, our eyes are overworked by computer screens, fluorescent light, television images and late-night driving. Our ears are stimulated by loud machines, the hum of a computer or refrigerator, television, a blaring radio, telephone conversation, sometimes all in the same room. Likewise, our noses are bombarded with automobile exhaust, cleaning products and toxic chemicals. Even our taste buds are overworked by the types of foods we eat.  These types of stress affect our nervous system and result in physical disorders. The best way to relieve stresses and bring your body back into balance is through natural therapies such as Aromatherapy and Divine Healing Energy of the five senses, our sense of smell is the most primitive and most closely associated with our emotions and how our body responds to them. Together with a balanced diet, nutrition, adequate exercise and water, Aromatherapy can help you achieve a healthier, more balanced lifestyle. It should become a part of your daily routine.

Essential oils are the volatile oils found in the seeds, roots, resins, flowers, trees, stems, bark and fruit of plants. These oils are the life force of the plants and have many beneficial and protective properties. Many oils have antiviral, antibacterial or antifungal properties. Some may also soothe inflammation, relax tense muscles or enhance breathing. Essential oils are being used to treat physical, psychological and energetic imbalances and they have become very popular in self-care and natural products.

In Japan, workers exposed to jasmine, lavender and lemon fragrances seem happier and make fewer keyboard errors. New York medical researchers gave MRI patients rose fragrance - a comfort aroma - during their scans. They were feeling significantly less anxious. In Australia, tea tree oil was used as an effective first aid treatment and used in medical treatments. Many home and beauty products contain harmful chemicals that may damage our health when used long-term. Blending essential oils is a form of art. Grace Mukta will choose a few natural sacred essential oils that match your physical and emotional needs and will blend them especially for you!

Some applications of Essential Oils

* Diffusions - the easiest way to benefit from aromas of essential oils in your home or office. A few drops can also be added to a potpourri of dried flowers.
